And so, this chapter of our story comes to an end. I don't think K and I will be continuing to keep this blog up very much- I won't say never, but rarely for sure, as neither of us is a particularly dedicated blogger, but if you'd like to keep following us, feel free to find me on deviantART.
Thanks for sticking with us through this ride!

The Last Dance
The Last dance was by far my favorite moment of the day. We danced to Coldplay's Yellow and about halfway through the dance, everyone started to gather around us and form a circle, swaying to the song, and K and I could just feel so much love in the room. This is why we didn't just elope. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful, loving community of friends and family. Really, look at it. That's a family if ever I've seen one. K and I were crying by the end of it, and laughing and just so overwhelmed with how much joy there was in that tent. So K called out, "Okay everyone. Group hug!"
I don't think she expected it to happen.
But it did.
And I don't think either of us thought that moment could have gotten any better.
But it totally did.

The Break Dancing
Regan was the life of the party, I'll tell ya. She started, at one point, to "break dance" (mostly, just rolling around on our dance floor rug in the most adorable fashion possible), so naturally, we formed a circle and clapped her on.

Cake Cutting
Now watch closely. There's a story here.
The lesson here is that rice crispy treat wedding cakes put up a fight, and there may be some casualties, but at least you don't have to smash it in each other's faces.

The Party! Part the Second
Some Details
I worked my butt off making decorations and stationary and stuff. K and I made the ring book (above) together, altering (altar-ring? GET IT? GET IT?) an old novel about airships that we found at the flea market. I spent days and days working on designing signs and programs and little books because hey! It's an excuse to have a good time, to me. I did it not because That's What You Do but because I love making stuff like that. I had a blast with it. But yes, I'm totally devoting a post to this. Eventually, I'll get around to uploading the image files from all that stuff to my deviantART page. But for now, here's some of what the photographer captured.
